This is a humor thread, I was just kidding...
However, you wouldn't necessarily be too far off with my hometown... ever see the movie, Nothing but Trouble, starring Chevy Chase, Dan Aydroyd, and John Candy.
Although an extreme parady, its based on an adventure when Dan Aykroyd was a young comedian on Second City Chicago. He and some friends from the show rented a limo and took a country drive on US Route 6. After entering LaSalle County, between Seneca and Marseilles (the towns next to Ottawa), he got pulled over by local deputies for speeding, having small possession of cocaine was given the third degree, not allowed to contact their attorney and spending the weekend in jail.
Seneca is largely an entire village from Arkansas that relocated to Illinois following a Dupont Explosives factory move here during the depression. So its said the genetic pool in Seneca is so shallow you can't get your feet wet.
At least I wasn't born in the area, but moved here when I was 7, so my genetics are unique here. Plus I have family in Alabama too!
No offense intended - it was supposed to be tongue and cheek.
