So to summarize the thread:
1. You're playing a character that isn't your own, but built by the DM, at least in great part.
2. Your game is heavily houseruled and going the "DM has no understanding of how the game works really" route. Also known as the "lame game" route.
3. You're starting at rather high level, but can't even choose your equipment.
4. Extremely relevant facts (for the sake of optimization) are only very slowly forthcoming, usually in response to direct questions and/or attempts to help you out in a detailed manner.
So let me ask again: what do you want us to do?
Or rather, let me rephrase that: are you, Sir, in fact trolling, or just good-naturedly messing with us? Because I, for one, really can't work with this.

Even more importantly, why in gods' name Duelist 5? It's one of the worst classes in the game and its only nice feature comes at 7!
