Thoughts on this?

First, I think its Dex should be higher. Most lizards of its size have Dex 15, and it is noted to dart around and make agile hit-and-run attacks.

The current Skills line seems to imply a racial bonus on Hide and/or Listen and Spot checks.

I think the "trip" ability should be renamed to avoid confusion with the common (Ex) trip attack. Maybe "trip trap" or "tripping vine"?

I also think it should have a climb speed, probably equal to its land speed. I believe the "#" on its movement line indicates climbing. Plus, normal lizards have a climb speed equal to their land speed.

Dex 15's OK by me. Do we increase the AC by 1 or lower the NA by 1?

No objection to helping out its sensory skills.

As for the Trip magical ability, I agree it needs renaming but don't like either of the suggestions much.

Hmm, Uncanny Trip is my favourite so far, but I think there's something better out there.

How about Telekinetic Trip or Tele-Projected Trip?

What else is there we can use for the Trip trick - well, apart from The Trip Trick?

I still prefer it as an Su, but don't mind it as an SLA if it's OK by Shade.

The underbar means nothing to me, but the original saying it's trip like the spell favours Sp.
