Paper Models

I've always loved putting together models, and love building set pieces for D&D or other RPG games (I once built a model of Tristram for our D&D Diablo game, and one day I hope to finish my attempt to do a 3-D model of Castle Ravenloft).

I thought I'd share a link to the latest paper model I got in a monthly newsletter I get. If you know of other setpiece models like these, please, share a link! (or, if you've done your own, show a pic!)

Awesome thread idea. I only really know of Fat Dragon Games terrain and buildings, and a few other companies at RPGNow.com. More resources would be very welcome.

One of the reasons I found ENWorld back in the day, there used to be a resources section. There was a person "company ?" CSP that used to have an archive here. I don't know who it was, but there were some good furniture and hallway pieces.

I second Fat Dragon - Tom is awesome and I love the work his company does.

Yep although I like Hirst Arts I find Fat Dragon and world works so much faster for building encounters. Probably a slight preference for Fat Dragon, a little more "naturalistic". Then also don't forget One Monk for free paper figures, I'm now using bill babble's? 3D bases and one monk's figures, almost as good as my painted figures and a lot quicker / cheaper....

Cardstock models are an integral part of my game. I've posted pictures here and there over the years; here are some of my personal favs from my games, both recent and past:

War of the Burning Sky (Session 1)
War of the Burning Sky (Session 2)
Poisoned Shadows (Session 2)
Points of Light (Session 5)
Points of Light (Session 8)
Points of Light (Session 9)
Night of Dissolution (Session 16)
City of Mayhem
Mayhem Expanded

Most of everything I build comes from WorldWorksGames. They're amazing and blow the competition out of the water.

:)

OMG! You're using dry ice for your props! Awesome use of lighting too. This is just amazing!
