Anyone seen any of the Raging Heroes minis up close? The pictures look, well, dayum! :)

This little lady might find her way into the final scenario for Kingmaker.

Pricey, but if anyone can confirm that she looks like that, and can let me know about materials....

I first went looking because of a female commisar they make that would be perfect for a villain in a Fallout game that I run off and on.

That may not be the worst logo ever, but I'm having trouble coming up with a counterexample.

If not for the URL underneath it, I'd have no freaking clue what the thing was called. Did someone actually think that was legible?

Weird, I had no trouble reading that.

Not saying that you're weird, much more likely that I am. I also like Fraktur and the related Schoensperger typefaces. (I am a fan of Manfred Klein, and am also fond of Auld Magick.) So reading heavily embellished blackletter fonts gives me little trouble, I am used to them.

Trying to interpret that logo as letters, this is what I see:

Bogin's Illroez

Heh, here, you should take a look at Fraktur Initials, it takes me a little extra time to read that one. :p

Fraktur by TheAuldGrump, on Flickr

(In defense of that font - it is intended only for the first letter of a chapter, and in the originals was made even harder to read by illumination. That reads FRAKTUR.)

*EDIT* Back on topic, what did you think of the miniatures?

Well, the logo is also one of those words that looks the same forwards as backwards. Like the Illuminati logo. I forget exactly what they're called... Anyways, the miniatures look pretty cool!

If only more companies made more "realistic" miniatures, like for Song of Fire and Ice. I'd love to see Ned Stark in all of his Sean Bean glory in miniature.

Good catch, I hadn't even noticed that.

So if you flip it upside down, it still says Bogin's Illroez. Neat! :D

Wish Granted.

I think the other Dark Sword minis might be what you're looking for as well. Red Box games might also do the trick.

The raging heroes stuff looks pretty neat, but I'm not a huge fan of their obsession with super tall figures. Stuff like that is just too easy to tip over in actual play.
