*EDIT* Back on topic, what did you think of the miniatures?

The second one is very nice. Excellent texturing, good facial detail, not so happy with the costume. I could see myself buying it just to paint, even though I don't have a game in mind that I could use it in. The first I'm not so sure about. I don't like painted minis, as a good paint job can hide all sorts of casting problems.

If only more companies made more "realistic" miniatures, like for Song of Fire and Ice. I'd love to see Ned Stark in all of his Sean Bean glory in miniature.

You know there are hundreds of manufacturers making historical minis. They're what I'd use for a SoIaF game.

Okay, now I'm jealous, dammit.

I look at that and all I see is Raging Heroes, you folks see the name of the dread relic The Ill Rose....

That may not be the worst logo ever, but I'm having trouble coming up with a counterexample.

If not for the URL underneath it, I'd have no freaking clue what the thing was called. Did someone actually think that was legible?

It reminds me of how death metal bands constantly strive for the least-readable logo.

I'm an artist by training, a metalhead by choice, and I can see that there are letters in there.

Words, not so much.
