Converting original D&D and Mystara monsters

It might not list it, but they must have the off-hand attack just by the usual two-weapon fighting rules. In some cases, it probably just gets less efficient.

Anyway, I think I slightly prefer the scimitar/claw combo, but I don't mind either way.

I'm starting to lean towards that, if only because it's closer to the original.

So, the big question is...

What does Shade say?

I say, "why not?" ;)

I'd rather have their tactics entry have something like "Most sis'thik use scimitars as weapons, but some favor falchions or spears."

Sounds good.

Did we ever start a Homebrews or Working Draft for these?

OK then, I'll update it with a scimitar since you and Shade seem to have no objection. :p

Just noticed that 315 still has Weapon Focus (scimitar) - probably knew that we would revert to it. ;)

Maybe I did, or maybe it was a subtle neuropsychological message to influence you to prefer a scimitar.

It couldn't possibly be because I forgot to change it from the scimitar that was in my original rough draft before I swapped it for a falchion. Why, that would imply that I was careless. B-)

I've updated the Working Draft.

I swapped their Track for WF (scimitar) to keep their weapon's attack to +5.

Should we give them Track as a bonus feat? I'm thinking not, since there's no particular emphasis on their tracking ability in the text.

We need to decide on the "Eye Membranes" special ability.

Also, we'll need to include the Queen, Shamans, and Bodyguards in the Organisation. Just list them as having class levels, I guess.

Oh, and the Sis'thik keep "Xytars" as mounts and fighting beasts, so I suppose we'll have to convert those too and add them to the Organisation.
