That works for me.

I'm OK with that.

Immunity to Gravity Effects (Ex?): A ni'iath is immune to any gravity-based effect (such as a reverse gravity spell or falling damage). It can perform all actions (including flying with perfect maneuverability) without penalty whether it is in light, heavy or normal gravity.

Should this be Su rather than Ex?

That depends upon whether you want it active in an antimagic field or not. I'm leaning towards Ex so it always remains.

I'd like it to stay in an antimagic field, but I have a hard time seeing how it's Ex. Even something like a beholder that has natural flight justifies it by "bouyant glands" or something. On the other hand, Immunity to Magic is Ex, so who knows?

Yes, I was finding it problematic justifying Ex.

Ni'iath evolved on a plane with randomly variable gravity, so it could be a natural adaptation to such conditions. The text says they have no magical "flight" organ, but ""ignore gravity in a manner still misunderstood".

I suppose a supernatural gravity-neutralizing power would be more understandable to D&D characters, so let's make it an Extraordinary one...

Hmmmm. I guess I can go with Ex since Immunity to Magic is. It's just a little odd.

It wouldn't be the first ability that felt odd in its classification. ;)

I'm brought back to the whole Fort save to avoid being knocked over by wind... :p

Seems like it.

I think the AC needs some work. The original converts to AC 15, which is +5 NA, unless we're giving it a deflection bonus. That does sound appropriate, actually. If it's Con based (from an SQ), that would reduce the NA to +4, or we could bump Con a little more.
