People who doubt that this movie is connected to ALIEN in anyway need to watch the original trailer for ALIEN then watch the PROMETHEUS trailer right after it.

Not only is the formation of the title credits the same but several of the audio queues are pretty much identical to the ALIEN trailer. This is definitely an ALIEN prequel. We might not see the Xenomorph but the Space Jockey, the Derelict Ship as well as the egg chamber (instead of eggs there are those slim cylindrical vats...) is in this movie.

"Over 9000" is a popular meme. It comes from Dragonball Z. It's generally used in response to a question on how big or numerous something is. Or in this case when someone thinks that their experience with 3D is prevalent in the greater population.

I, personally prefer to watch movies without the glasses. I find them too distracting. I don't get the headaches some people get but I'm all too aware that the things are on my face and the rims are in my periphery.
I'm hoping to see this in 2D IMAX or 3D without the glasses.
