Vote on Daylily!

Since I started Daylily about a year ago, I've discovered that elven barbarians are one of those race/class combinations that no one ever frickin' plays. At least, if the amount of elven barbarian artwork out there is any clue, no one one ever plays them. It's a desert. Seriously.

However, I've recently found two pretty reasonable elf barbarian pictures, and I figured I'd put it up for a vote. But just for giggles, I'll even throw in the original picture, which I hate.

So then, Living Pathfinderites: Who is Daylily? Who should Daylily be?



Choice #1: The badly photoshopped human elf barbarian.

Choice #2: Half-naked steroid barbarian.

Choice #3: The Cloud Strife elf barbarian.

I vote for the Half Naked Barbarian. Whenever I think Barbarian in a rage, that Demented, almost Joker like smile, is what I picture. Having that jumping at you would make you dive for the nearest half-solid object to try to give him something else to smash so you can try to escape.

I was really disappointed when you initially shifted from the original to #2. Yes, the original is pretty terrible. But it's lodged itself into my consciousness to the point where it's lovable in its terribleness.

That being said, I cast my vote for #3. I feel like that could *actually* be Daylily, based on what I know of his character, whereas #2 is too cartoon-y for me. The profusion of skins/claws/etc is a nice touch.

On an empathetic note, I've had the same problem with Ni, my summoner gnome. Gnome pictures are hard to find in and of themselves; I really dislike his current picture, but it's still the closest I've gotten to satisfactory.

I like the #1 picture. #3 fits better, but needs to be colored in to truly have the grungy effect Daylily has.

#1 looks like he is having an aneurysm. Or taking a dump in a briar patch. And he needs a dentist but then I imagine most people of the time would.

#2 is a bit cartoony. But I'm attracted to vibrant colors so this one got my vote.

#3 would be fine but since I am attracted to vibrant colors this one seems too monochrome for me. And it has Cloud's head. I am not a fan of Cloud art so if it had a different head and a bit of color I definitely would have voted for this one instead. Even though he stole Amiri's clothes.

While I tend to picture Daylily with more clothing a-la the ripped-from-the-iconic accoutrements of the third pic, I agree with others that the wild insanity in the look of the second pic just says "Daylily" to me more, so, it got my vote.
