Suping up a construct

Well I am still playing a transmuter crafter character and i read up on constructing....constructs. And I came to the conclusion that you can do multiple types of upgrades:

a) Increase its HD as indicated. Some of the constructs have more detailed progressions described then others.

b) When calculating equipment that you want to attach to the construct, just use the crafting magical items rules (for the gold, XP cost and time needed).

c) For increasing size...well some have described progressions. Most of the constructs don't have this progression described, so just compare it with the ones that have.

Hmmm does 3.0,.5,.7.5 have rules for a colossal cannon or should i just see if the GM would allow him to turn into a giant Silvereye Marauder as lycanthropy?

A Huge 60-pounder (60 pound ball) does 12d12 per the official D20 Past sourcebook. The cannon weighs 4,000 lbs and has a range of 250 feet.

a colossal sized cannon should do more damage than that, I mean Its basically 4 times if not 8 (which i think is closer) the size of the Tsar cannon, this thing has to shoot balls larger than most houses.

Update*
The Iron colossus would be approx. between 4-5 times the size of the tsar cannon.
http://www.moscow.info/kremlin/palaces/tsar-cannon.aspx

Even though the Tsar cannon would have never fired Cannon balls the size of the ones in front of it the Iron colossus would (If it could transform into one) fire cannon balls of around the area of 4 and a half tons, to be exact 8818.49048 lbs. this means that this should be so massive that most monsters of huge size and below should be dead and or squashed along with their friends. this is based on the idea that if someone gets shot with a gun the size as them propelling a bullet half the defenders weight they should be dead as biggie.

this makes me wonder how would one gauge the HD increase provided by such a game killing ability, maybe go along with the Iron colossus' already prominent (almost) everything causes death by massive damage because he's so huge idea and make a Homebrew tranformer-esque template that adds the weapons Damage as Hit dice instead of the usual Base animal's HD to the LA. This would allow one to do the same for other construct, like having the Lord of blades transform into a Musket to be used by his own iron golem, they should also follow the rules for the warforged Armbow.

so anyone got them numbers on the colossal sized cannon?
Update*

Going by the list presented here
http://www.d20srd.org/srd/equipment/weapons.htm#weaponSize

A weapon's damage doubles from gargantuan to colossal. This means if i used the fiend's mouth cannon presented in PF:UC the Iron Colossus would do 16d6.

So i have to ask where did the cannon getting 12D12 come from?

Also what are some useful Magic items i could add to this thing?

As I said in my post, the D20 Past sourcebook.

However, I would look at Improvised Weapon damage in Complete Warrior page 159.

Colossal should do 80d6 or something.

If only wizards of the coast did something better with their time than making new rakashas and trolls we'd know the answer!

Any word on useful magical items?
