40 bucks for a pdf? They're out of their fricking mind.

Steep to be sure but not much different than other pdfs of large gaming books and boxed sets from a variety of different publishers. Ptolus complete pdf is $60. Rappan Athuk Reloaded pdf is $39.99. Wilderlands of High Fantasy (boxed set) pdf is $48. World's Largest Dungeon pdf is $39.95.

Probably more like 750 pages. It's not quite as big as Slumbering Tsar came out to be, but then Tsar was $125 for pre-order so it still comes out on the pricing scale.

Ok - thanks for the clarification. Bill had said in a post on paizo early on that it would be in the 1,000 page range.

Already at $36,000? YOWZA!

And I'm waiting to see if someone actually can go for the gusto at $10,000 and make Bill Webb their RPG manservant for two days. ;)

Ouch! A hundred dollars minimum to get a paper copy?

I like the idea of the project but that is a bit on the steep side.

yeah, maybe it's a reasonable price for the product, but can't we get some sort of discount for contributing to the kickstarter?

a hundred dollars?? yikes.

If someone does that, everyone should ask them if they'd allow a documentary to be made of it. Or maybe Frog God should add the documentary as a bonus goal or as an $11K pledge level. :)

Although that might give away some of the secrets of the dungeon to the astute players who watch the documentary before starting the adventure...
