I hadn't before noticed that they all (or most?) appear to be Target-Personal without saying so.
I wanted to use the Detect Magic to allow a non-caster to see what it is the casters do. Out of combat, RP, grant a party member the ability to watch the caster in action, see the process of casting a spell, see the "weave", and so on.
But it's just not doable. Detect Magic doesn't even have a target entry, it assumes you are the one receiving the benefits of the spell. Honestly, me and my buddies don't use many Divination spells to not push the DM's too much to have to reveal what they're not yet ready to reveal, so I'm unfamiliar with the school.
So, my question: How can my caster, in an attempt to broaden the horizons and awareness of his non-caster buddies, pass this spell along? Can it be put into a potion? Since my Wizard/War Weaver is not interested in taking the Brew Potion feat, would Quick Potion work?
