Ilse, who had performed a hit and run on one of the skeletons, now charges back into the fray. With a bounding jump, she lands near the same skeleton and crushes it into oblivion with her polearm.

She looks to Alek just beside her and says, "Kurnos needs help! We can't retreat anymore." Ilse then says to the others, "We stop the skeletons here!"

Alek nods at Ilse, "I agree. Its time we end this fight." He then turns to the skeletons standing over Kurnos. He lets out a shout and one of the skeletons explodes into dust and bones. "What about Kurnos?" Alek asks himself, "He's still in a bad place."

[sblock=actions]Standard action = Thunder slam SM2 Hit for 15 damage! and i remembered the -1 to my attack roll but do we take it on our damage rolls too? if so ill lower the damage but it wont matter.

As far as movment ill stand my ground here. how are we getting them of Kurnos?

I really have a bad daily power for this adventure....poison damage.....[/sblock]

OOC: just wanna add a word of encouragement: once we take out this melee guy and close in on the range skeletons it should turn to the point were we get hit less. just gotta finish of this last melee one and get in the faces of the rock throwers.

OOC: Kurnos has a Ferocity basic melee attack he gets to take as an immediate interrupt when he drops to 0 hp or fewer. 1d20+5-1=18 (including bad dreams penalty) vs AC of SM1 = HIT! for 1d8+2=5 -1(from bad dreams) = 4 damage from the basic attack plus 5 damage from Flurry of Blows since he hit with an attack = 9 total damage to SM1 and it gets slid back 1 square. Just realized I could have added 5 damage onto one target from Flurry of Blows last round! Dangit. Oh well, that what happens when you have a month between turns. ;)

Kurnos gets hit from all sides, but just before collapsing he launches a weak uppercut right into the jaw of the Skeletal Miner in front of him. It's teeth break and it's jaw is hanging in two pieces, but it is still on it's feet though it is pushed back a few feet from Kurnos before he collapses into darkness and begins coughing up blood...

I kinda suck at GMing don't I? =P

OOC: No, that wasn't meant as a dig at you, Voda. That's why I put the smiley face. Stuff happens and real life comes first. The website crashed which threw everybody for a loop and you had a vacation which nobody begrudges you taking time for. I'm lucky I remembered Kurnos' Ferocity attack as it is. We're playing good now and I am really liking this adventure. You're doing fine. Don't worry about it. Heck, we've had 3 or 4 people post in 24 hours or less since you did the monsters last turn. I'd say we're flying along now.

OOC: If that power is an interrupt it happens before damage is dealt. If the attacker is pushed back one by your interrupt attack then the skeleton's attack is basically neutralised. So that is 5 dmg that Kurnos would not receive. He would be at 2 HPs, conscious and able to take his turn as per usual, right? Correct me if I am wrong.

The skeleton that attempts to fell the whirling minotaur pays heavily for ignoring Boris' divine mark. A radiant light flares around the undead miner with burning force.

Boris walks around the corner swearing under his breath at his foolhardy companions. He flicks his blade towards the staggered creature sending a falling star streaking down the tunnel. It smashes through the chest bone tearing the necrotic life force into oblivion. The miner clatters to the ground in a heap. Boris' helm flares to life sucking in the life force into its emerald prison. With a roar Boris charges down the passage towards one of the rock throwers sword sparking with energy but it deftly evades his rather clumsy attack.

Logan moves into the mouth of the passage, narrows his eyes and flings one of his daggers at the foremost skeleton, but he finds himself too far away and the blade skitters off a wall and away harmlessly.

OOC: But the power only triggers after he's been knocked to 0 hp's or fewer, so it's after the attack already resolved. It's just a last chance shot as the Monk is passing out.

OOC: I don't think so. It says when you drop to 0 hps or fewer you can make the atk as an Immediate Interrupt. An interrupt goes BEFORE the action that triggers it. Need a stronger argument than that to convince me I am wrong.
