OOC: It looks like the conditions I gave for Tana to use Channeling Shield occurred

GM: Sorry. I missed your II block. Sirrah's OA would have killed Bandit 2, so Jayce did not take enough damage to go unconscious.

Do you still want to use it for Jayce?

As the bandit shifts away from Sirrah, he takes advantage of the opening:

Opportunity Action:
Vengeful Guardian
Trigger: An enemy in Sirrah's defender aura shifts or makes and attack that does not include Sirrah.
Effect: Sirrah makes a melee basic attack that deals 1d8 extra damage.

Vengeful Guardian (Bandit 2) (1d20+10=21 AC, 2d4+7+1d8=19 damage)

GM: Would have been good to know ahead of time that the defender aura was sticky. ;)

Because of this, Sirrah kills Bandit 2.

GM: Voda Vosa, both Hilkalas' and Rava's stat blocks have a lot of errors (HP, which encounter powers were used, action points, second winds, surges, etc.) in them. Please correct them.

Also, Hilkalas' attack knocked Pumpkin prone.

GM: Would have been good to know ahead of time that the defender aura was sticky. ;)

Because of this, Sirrah kills Bandit 2.

OOC: Sorry about that. I thought it was in the defender aura description I copied. Didn't realize until just then that it wasn't.

As the bandit falls, Sirrah absorbs some of his life force.

Free: Dark Reaping

Trigger: A creature within 5 squares of Sirrah is reduced to 0 hit points
Effect: One creature of Sirrah's choice that he hits with an attack before the end of his next turn takes extra necrotic damage equal to 1d8+3.

Sirrah rushes forward, his weapon now cloaked in dark energy from the dead bandit he had stepped over. He takes a brutal swipe at the other bandit on the wall. The bandit manages to block the attack, but likely won't make the same mistake his ally just did.

Move: U13
Standard: Batter Down
5(1d20) +10 = 15 AC; 12(4d4) +7 +1(1d8) +3 = 23 damage

Defender Aura (Minor; at-will) ✦ Martial
Effect: Sirrah activates an aura 1 that lasts until he ends it as a minor action or until he falls unconscious. While in the aura, any enemy takes a -2 penalty to attack rolls when it makes an attack that does not include among its targets either Sirrah or an ally of his who has this aura active. Marked enemies are not subject to this aura.

Vengeful Guardian (Opportunity; at-will) ✦ Martial
Trigger: An enemy subject to Sirrah's defender aura either shifts or makes an attack that targets an ally of his, without targeting him or an ally who has an active defender aura.
Effect: Sirrah makes a melee basic attack against the triggering enemy and deals 1d8 extra damage to it.

OOC: @KD, does use of the ladder use extra movement?

OOC: Normal climb (two squares per 5 feet). No roll needed for Jayce. With fast climb (1 square per 5 feet), a roll is needed (DC 15 IIRC).

But, if Jayce goes down the ladder to ground level, Bandit 6 gets an OA (as Jayce moves from 5 feet up to ground level).
