Whatever snark you're getting at, just spell it out.

Sorry. Not trying to be snarky at you. I just imagine that you are not going to get quite the vitriol from certain posters such as I received in the not too distant past.

EDIT: truly, mistwell, sorry for that comment. Again it was not meant as a slight against you but I can see why you might take it that way. I think that it is good DMing regardless of who DMs that way.

Of course it can be solved by a competent DM. I know it's easier to put me in a little box of predefined positions...but that's not reality. When you see me making the argument that wizards are overpowered as written in these threads, you let me know m'kay?

Dude I didn't say anything about you. I was agreeing with an observation Wicht made. I didn't quote you and I didn't put your name in my post so what makes you think I am addressing you specifically??

Reading Mistwell's example, it strikes me, rather humorously, that if I did this sort of thing with my Wizard characters there are certain posters who would accuse me of "DM Force" and being a tyrannical sort of DM who was making it more difficult for the player to do what he wanted to do. :)

Hey now, don't go bringing logic into this... Otherwise they might have to admit that LFQW isn't really an issue that can't be solved by a competent DM... :p

He was referencing my post and me by name, you referenced his post without further stating any other context other than a mysterious "they", and so I replied.

And again, I didn't reference you or your post... chill. If I have something to say about your posts I'll directly address you, I've done it before.

LOL you're the one that needs to chill a bit Imaro. You asked me directly, "what makes you think I am addressing you specifically?" and I explained why. I think you can see that lacking the additional context of some other thread I was not even in, it was rationale for me to think you're referring to the guy who was specifically mentioned in the quote by name.

In his post Wicht said "there are certain posters..." since I used they, wouldn't it make more sense to assume I was talking about those other posters... just saying.

Whoa, did I miss some bad force DMing going on? Can't believe I missed it! Feel my generalized scorn, then. :)
