Scotley's and Leif's Constables of the 14th Ward [3.5E D&D] [OOC 02]

Saw him last month and played a little tabletop D&D. I think he is just really busy and doesn't get much time to post.
Thanks. I'm in one of his games. I was looking at his page to see when he was last on and I saw a bunch of names I recognized as his friends, so I thought I would ask here.

News Flash: You guys have got to get to a TV and watch the 4th quarter of the SEC Championship between Mizzou and Auburn on CBS, Tigers vs. Tigers.

It is a total SHOOTOUT TD fest!

Holiday Season

It is that time of year again. I just wanted to get a sense of everyone's availability the next week or two. I've mostly recovered from a nasty head cold and am eager to play, but I know this is a busy time for many of you. The week of the 29th I'll be taking a little holiday and don't expect to post at all until the first weekend of the new year. Happy Merry Blessed Glorious Io (insert holiday of choice here, I'm partial to Saturnalia myself)!

We are expecting a baby boy within the week. When that happens I will be taking 2 weeks off from work. So depending on the his temperament I might have no free time or lots of it.

Congratulations, KR! Our new baby boy is a week old yesterday! I wish you a son with a pleasant temperament, excellent eating and sleeping habits, and many filled diapers to change .

Kerlan's Go'n' Be A Daddy! (Again!)

Mazel Tov to you as well, Kerlan! I second Mowgli's wishes. I also have a suggestion -- when I was married to my first wife back in 1998, I had a step-son who was almost two. He would always cry bright and early in the morning, and usually I got up to 'tend to bidness.' I knew full well what I was about to find in his diaper, or 'bundle of joy' you might say, but I would always feign abject shock, let my jaw drop, my eyes get as big as possible, and say something like, "*Gasp* Oh, my goodness!" He found this to be unspeakably hilarious, and we shared many a smile together over a stinky diaper.

Gear for LakeCon 2014

I received a week or two ago my most recent guitar purchase. It's my third Epiphone -- an acoustic DR-100 dreadnought, to go with my black Les Paul Special (as in retarded, by which I mean that it has very few of the bells and whistles that can be found on high-end Gibson Les Pauls or even high-end Epiphone Les Pauls) and my red SG. I didn't find this one on ebay, either, I bought it new from zZounds, and if I may say, it's pretty awesome. I recently got my oldest girl a Fender acoustic at the local music store for Christmas (shhh!). The Fender was on sale, I think, so it cost about $10.00-$20.00 more than my Epiphone. I guess I should go out and play it before we wrap it this weekend, but I can't even imagine that I could like it as well as I like my Epiphone.

BTW, my new avatar is as near an approximation of my Epiphone Les Paul as I was able to find. It is a picture of an actual Epiphone Les Paul, but the finish on mine is more distressed and un-glossy.

Update: Since this post, I have also got an Epiphone Les Paul 100, and it looks exactly like my avatar.

Nope, my third. I have two girls already, 13 and 8. He isn't the first boy in the family, but he will be the first to carry on the family name. (*no pressure*)
