D&D 5E What is your favourite PHB class?

While my first and greatest love will be represented by the Cavalierish Devotion Oath Paladin, I am highly interested in both the "Ancients" Green Knight oath and the "Avenging" Dark Knight oath.

As far as base classes are concerned, from what I've seen I'm most excited by Monk and Fighter. Their subclasses really demonstrate, more than any others I feel, just how varied two members of the same class can be.

Favorite subclass, however, gets split between Battlemaster and Wild Mage. I love tactical fighters (most of my sadly short time with 4e was spent as a Taclord), but nothing stoked my imagination as a child as much as the 2e Wild Mage. It's been much too long since we've had a proper Wild Surge table.

Me too! And wizard schools, and domains!

Man, I'm among friends, love eldritch knight and paladin oath of the ancients. I'm primarily a DM but if I ever were to play a game as a player it would be between one of those, also I gotta give a shout out to the monk's way of the 4 elements. I love me some ATLA/Korra.

Feylock or goolock - I can't decide which (& torn between tome - w/ the rituals invocation to get a familiar anyway, along w/ other ritualy goodness - or chain, which then leaves me pondering if the ritual invoc is still worth it or not).

I tried to make this a true poll, but there are so many subclasses that I timed out.

Multiple Subclasses by Subraces (counting Tieflings, Half-Orcs, Half Elves, and humans as 1 and counting each possible dragon type for Dragonborn as a subrace) which totals 23 subraces.

This equals out to 920 combinations of Subclass and Subrace, not including Fighting style or Pact type ect...
