D&D 5E Appendix B: Gods

gyor

Legend
So far the FR Pantheon and Non Human Pantheons are confirmed to be in the PHB Appendix B although the FR list will not be complete.

What other Pantheons do you think will be in the PHB? And which none humans will get thier Pantheons in?

My guess is FR Pantheon, Seldadine, Dwarf Pantheon, Halfling Pantheon, Gnomish Pantheon, are pretty much garunteered.

Possiblities because of race, but not certainities, Orc Pantheon, Draconic Pantheon, Drow Pantheon, outside chance of Archdevils (really unlikely).

Certain, Norse, Egyptian, Greek, likely Greyhawk, Netar Vale, Dragonlance, Ebberon I don't know if Ravenloft has a Pantheon.

I don't know how many whole pantheons there are going to be, so don't get your hopes up. I expect a smattering of different gods - maybe not even more than one or two of each race, a few from different pantheons, etc.

I hadn't heard anything or seen any indication of racial pantheons, but I suppose it's possible. Honestly, I kinda hope these die in a fire, because I find them totally superfluous.

PS: What's Seldadine? Google turned up nothing.

I highly doubt any of these will be in the Player's Handbook.

Norse, Egyptian, and Greek pantheons are a given; they've all been mentioned in 5Basic already. Ditto for Greyhawk, Dragonlance, and Eberron. 4E's Nerath pantheon is a good bet. As far as I know, Ravenloft never had gods of its own, but I'm not a Ravenloft expert.

I think they've mentioned there will be most of the FR pantheon, Eberron, Greyhawk, and Dragonlance pantheons, along with Greek, Norse, Celtic and Egyptian.

I wouldn't expect to many.

I am expected a Big Old Book of goods with a gizillion options for clerics in the future. I still think Faiths and Avatars from 2E is one of the best 3 or so D&D books ever written. It certainly redefined the Cleric class. If they can somehow adapt the concept of Specialty Priests to 5E, it would be a book I would look forward to buying.
