So the Warlock is looking pretty awesome. I wasn't around for the early playtests and have seen nothing of the class since 3.5 edition (I hated 4th with a passion).

What does the Mystic Arcanum ability do?

That gives the warlock 1 6th/7th/8th/9th level spell at the appropriate levels. Outside the 4 regular slots they already have.

I meant to say you also get higher level ones over time. by 20th you have 4 of them 1 6th level through 9th level from warlock list. I suspect something else will trigger when using them in a future product

Humblest apologies if it's already been posted before (this is a fast moving thread, it's hard to keep up!), but Brian, do you think you could provide the details for the Entertainer background? To my knowledge that's the only one we don't have details for yet - the others have been covered in Basic (Acolyte, Criminal, Folk Hero, Sage, Soldier) reverse engineered from the Starter Set (Noble), previewed online (Hermit), or shared with us in this thread (Charlatan, Guild Artisan, Outlander, Charlatan, Urchin).

I would liken it to a daily power basically when other full casters (wizards, sorcerers, bards) would be getting those 6-9th level spells. They work outside their other slots so they top out a 4 dailies and their other spells refresh after short rests.

One more question: Is the Eldritch Knight's War Magic feature as good as the Valor Bard's?

Shar: Death and Trickery.
Set (I am assuming the Egyptian deity): Death, Tempest, Trickery

So it sounds like Trickery encompasses darkness (that had been my guess). Also sounds like Death is taking care of the generic evil domain needs.

Shadowfell is a Material Echo plane and parallel to the Material Plane.

Did they ditch border inner planes? That might be something for the DMG.

Oh dear, I've wanted those skills SO much for my impending warlock that I might just have to swap him out of Sage to get them.

If your DM doesn't allow you to build your own background according to the instructions given, he/she probably has something very specific in mind for the campaign, as it seems to be the clear intent that background customization is allowed and the listed backgrounds are examples.
