D&D 5E Druid 20 = Infinite Hit Points

I think I'm missing something, please care to help.

A Druid can WILD SHAPE twice per short rest, when
he is on beast shape he will retain his Class Features,
meaning he can WILD SHAPE again while still in a
beast shape.

When he assumes a beast shape he will have that
creature's hit points, when they drop to 0, he will
revert back to his original form with his own hit
points still there.

On 2nd level, with CIRCLE OF THE MOON, he can
beast shape into CR 1 creatures, like a Tiger, and
he can WILD SHAPE as a bonus action.

A tiger has 37 hit points, a 2ND LEVEL druid would
have 74 ADITIONAL hit points PER SHORT REST.
That seems like a lot.

When a druid reaches level 20, he can WILD SHAPE
any number of times as a bonus action. This means
in each of his turns he can WILD SHAPE into a full
health creature of CR 6, potentially healing between
100~200 hit points PER BONUS ACTION.

Unless you can remove all his hit points in one round,
he will not be harmed.

Like I said, I' probably missing some limitation, can
someone point it to me?

If that interpretation is correct, I wonder who tested it.

A Wildshaped druid cannot cast spells. That's a big disadvantage at high levels. Speaking can be a problem too if your DM is strict: tigers are useful in combat but cannot speak; ravens and parrots are not useful in combat but can. A druid dropped below 0 HP in wildshape form loses the excess from their own HP and these HP are not healed by taking a new animal form.

But yes, it does look as if a 20th level Circle of the Moon druid who stays wildshaped will make mincemeat of a 20th level fighter or barbarian.

A20th level Druid has infinite hit points. A 20th level Cleric can snap his fingers and summon his god like a bellhop. A 17th level Wizard can cast wish.

It's high level D&D. If you were hoping to challenge the party with a bar brawl you're doing it wrong.

I want Barbarian 20 to have a chance in melee, but it is not the case.

Both wish and summon god are up to DM, unless you want
to replicate a spell.

Actually, by 20th level, druids can cast spells in Wildshape.

Currently this seems like one of the more questionable 20th level abilities. That said, one arguable balancing factor is the fact that it is a 20th level ability, so at least if it's broken it shouldn't break your game for too long. ;)

Another limitation is that it requires a bonus action to revert to your normal form. Therefore, unless the form's hp is reduced to 0 (in which case you'll probably take damage), you can only refresh your Wildshape hp every other round.

Finally, Wildshape itself has certain inherent disadvantages. Most of your magic items (which at level 20 will likely be significant) will be unusable while Wildshaped. Additionally, beasts typically have fairly low defenses. For example, the Mammoth is the highest CR beast in BD&D, and it only has an AC of 13 and a Dexterity of 9. This means that abilities that trigger on a hit (or failed Dex save) are almost guaranteed to fully affect the Druid while Wildshaped.

It does sound like a design oversight, which will be probably corrected in the first rules update.

Before then, it looks like the only way to challenge a 20th level Druid in battle is either to focus fire on her (hoping that excess damage will eventually wear out the HP below the wildshape), or use save-or-die and similar hp-indipendent attacks.

Or have a 20th-level adventure completely devoid of combat to piss off the Druid for good
