It would seem more sensible if they hadn't hyped it as a big announcement. They already told us they had plans. This contains zero new information apart from the name change. So maybe they should have just announced the name change and not made such a production out of it? I dunno, definitely feels like a let-down.

I don't see how they hyped it as a big announcement at all.
They're just reminding people that they're still alive and kicking, in a cool and creative way RPG-related way. Much better than just "Hey, we didn't quit. Yet. End Message."
But I'm TERRIBLE at thinking my way around corners, so I have no idea what the seaweed signifies.

Will it work with 5e? That's all I need to know because if not is is no use to me (unless it somehow works with Call of Cthulhu 7e).

This "news" (and that is stretching the definition of the word to boundaries that it encompasses) is utterly pointless. I don't even see how this is worthy as a subject to talk about. It literally tells us nothing except that the creators didn't die since we last heard, which is usually my default assumption of all people ever. Let me know when there is something of note to actually talk about.

Yup. Some Wizards apparently.
That's why I ask if the app will work with 5e. I don't want to follow these updates if they aren't of any use for me and my group.
