[sblock=OOC]I forgot to put this in my other post, so I'm making a new post so it doesn't get lost.

If the beholder attacks anyone within 5 squares of Raiyek, he will use Charge of the Conqueror (drawing his sword as part of the action due to his ruby scabbard).

Charge of the Conqueror (Encounter Immediate Interrupt Melee weapon ✦ Divine, Weapon)
Trigger: An enemy makes an attack roll against your ally within 5 squares of you.
Effect: Raiyek charges the triggering enemy and makes the following attack.
Secondary Target: The triggering enemy.
Secondary Attack: +17 vs. AC
Secondary Hit: 2d10+9 necrotic damage.
Effect: The target is subject to Raiyek's divine sanction until the start of his next turn.[/sblock]

OOC: I have a feeling Mik is going to need some healing next turn. :erm:

OOC: Lerrick has got your back :)

OOC: FourMonos, I forgot to move Lerrick after saying that she moved in my post. I moved her back where she started prior to her forced move. Hope that doesn't mess up your future post.

As seasoned adventurers would, the group overcomes their surprise quickly and act with focus and determination. Vermitrax summons a large ice pincer which traps the beholder. Mists erupt at Illarion's will, damaging one of the gargoyles. Fhangrim maneuvers his creatures about the battlefield and launches projectiles into the stone enemies. Lerrick overcomes her temporary fear and returns to the battle, forcing her will on the beholder. Lilli's use of illusions tricks the gargoyles' weak minds into collecting in a single spot. Drew valiantly charges, but fails to land his blow on the stone foe. Mikara, it turns out, does not only have a drinking problem, but her ingestion of liquids was tactical in nature, and she spews flames across the gargoyles, consuming them all in a flash of fire. The stone gargoyles look none too happy with her.

The gargoyle not affected by the illusion swipes at the phantom owlbear to no effect, then starts to circle away from it.

One continues to gnaw into the phantom food, ignoring the combat around it.

The two most torched by the elven archer, swing at her. One connects, the other, victim to Lill's trickery, attacks its companion. After taking a chunk of stone from its shoulder, the gargoyles roar at each other.

The beholder seems annoyed to be clawed, but try as it might, it does not shake off the icy claw. It shows its annoyance by an eye beam hitting Veritrax in the chest. The initial hit is not too painful but Vermitrax feels the energy still corroding him.

A second eye beam barely misses Fhagrim's head, instead going past and impacting on the wall.

OOC: @FourMonos It's good to be back adventuring! Thank you for creating this adventure. My life is complete now...lol

Lerrick smiles at the distraction she caused the giant orb. She then turns quickly and mumbles a prayer under her breath while pointing the index finger of her right hand towards the fire breathing elf. As she does Mikara becomes engulfed by a strange silver mist. As soon as it appears the mist gravitates directly to the wound given by the gargoyle. A surge of warm soothing healing all but seals the wound. Turning back to the beholder the cleric tries again to enforce her will against the vile creature. The bright silver gaze of her eyes bore into the creature, this time with the intent of trying to confusing it. Lerrick's smile widens as she is it is clear to her that her powers are causing the desired effect to the giant orb, much to the satisfaction of the cleric.

Neurotic

I plan on living forever. Or die trying.
Illarion moves closer to the gargoyles clashing his daggers together causing sparks to fly. Quickly they spread over his arms, then body until finally his form is all sparks as it flies through gargoyles burning each in turn. Sparks coalesce into flaming spiral further burning all three gargoyles next to him. Even as he returns to his (albeit flaming) normal form pulse of uncontrolled power knocks the last one off its feet.

Through the crackling flames, a voice can be heard.
"You lady should come for us, beholder, you are just a bump on the road. BEHOLD UNLIMITED POWER!!"
No, it is not star wars emperor Palpatine talking :)

OOC: nice round! total 169 damage
[sblock=Actions]
Move: F23
Standard: Spark form vs Ref; lightning damage in order (G2; G1; G3; G4) (1d20+14=27, 1d6+9=14, 1d20+14=28, 1d6+9=13, 1d20+14=33, 1d6+9=10, 1d20+14=31, 1d6+9=14) - end up in E27 - add 1d6 if any of them is undamaged
G2 takes 14
G1 takes 13
G3 takes 10
G4 takes 14

Now they are all damaged, use Tooth of Chaos
AP: Flame spiral vs Ref (G1; G3; G4); Fire damage (1d20+14=19, 1d20+14=28, 1d20+14=34, 1d10+15=22, 1d6+9=11)
G1 takes 22
G3 takes 22
G4 critted for 25 + Crit bonus; Chaos seed (2d8=7, 1d6=5) = 32 fire damage and prone (no slide)
Seed of chaos 5: Illarion makes basic attack as free action
RBA vs AC(G4); damage (1d20+13=25, 1d4+6=9) - does not provoke due to Shimmering Armor, hit for 9

Each of them will take additional 11 fire damage from starting next to Illarion. G2 and beholder too will take 11 fire damage if it moves next to Illarion TENT
If any of them dies, apply 3 damage to the most wounded one for each death.

Free action: Assassing shroud on the beholder

Damage totals:
G1 takes 13 + 22 + 11 = 46
G2 takes 14 (+11 if it enters a square adjacent to Illarion)
G3 takes 10 + 22 + 11 = 43
G4 takes 25 + 7 + 11 + 9 = 52, prone

Immediates (use in order):
All immediates assume non-minion crit OR Illarion is bloodied and under attack - I will specifically call if Swift Escape (encounter power) is free to be used)
If the enemy hits Illarion with area or close attack Illarion teleports 6 (SWIFT ESCAPE POWER)
If the enemy within 10 hits Illarion, the damage is reduced by 5 and he returns the attack +14 vs Ref, 1d10+15 damage and slide 2 (on miss half damage and slide 1)(GROUNDING REBUKE)
If the enemy hits Illarion with melee attack, Illarion teleports 2 (Bracers of Escape)
[/sblock]

[sblock=Illarion Meriele]
STATUS:
SPECIAL: resist 8 psychic;

if 1st attack in the round is even gain +1 AC; odd - make a saving throw

The beholder seems to be leaving Raiyek alone, still anchored to the ground as he is. The monster thinks I am not a threat. Time to show it how wrong it is. Let's see how this armour works... The elf straps his shield on while he has this moment of reprieve, then closes his eyes and concentrates, drawing the magic of his armour up to the surface. He opens his eyes and sees the world flash around him. His feet are still rooted to the cobblestones ... except those cobblestones are now directly in front of the beholder. Hearing the roar of Illarion's flames and proclamation behind him, Raiyek is confident in his decision to leave the gargoyles to the rest of the party.

"I told you the gods are with us. By Palladys, you will see I speak more than mere words!" The paladin's eyes burn a glowing gold as a golden glyph glows to life above the beholder's central eye. Suddenly he springs into action, his right hand whipping his sword free of its scabbard and into a horizontal slice in one motion, carving into the beholder's hide as the blade glows a similar gold and sears the monster with radiant energy.
[sblock=Actions]Standard: ready shield. (Note to self: keep the shield out at all times from now on. Having to burn a standard is annoying...)

Move: Teleporting Gith Plate daily power - teleport 6 to M27.

Minor: Ardent Vow on beholder - +9 damage on my next attack against it.

AP for a Standard: Beholder is subject to divine sanction TENT (marked, 8 radiant damage the first time each round it makes an attack that doesn't include Raiyek as a target) due to Divine Fortification feature.
Illarion's AP bonus: Illarion's AP bonus effect (1d6=4) - beholder grants CA TENT Illarion.
Arc of Vengeance vs beholder: 29 vs AC, 30 radiant and necrotic damage. Lerrick's debuffs and CA aren't included in the roll, so effectively hits AC 34.
Since it was already marked by Raiyek, it also takes 4 radiant damage whenever it deals damage to Raiyek or an ally (save ends).

Note: Each time any creature marked by Raiyek damages him with an attack, Raiyek gains 4 temp hp (Honored Foe feat).

OOC: [MENTION=88601]FourMonos[/MENTION], G1 does NOT have ongoing damage as Drew missed with the charge (unless there was CA involved from druids companions or spells), ongoing comes from Flurry of blows which triggers on hit, it is not separate power. I'll write it up clearer this round :)

I used the MBA from your previous round +14 to hit; 2d6+5 damage for the gargoyle, if that is not correct, please re-roll or apply needed modifiers to my rolls as you see fit.

Drew moves next to the gargoyle that resisted the lure of the illusion. He faints toward its right and then lunges left, his right hook coming from behind. He seems to stumble, almost appearing as if he'll grab the illusionary meat and gargoyle which resisted its hunger before, could not resist its protective instincts as it moves to block the monk. It swipes its claw toward the moving boy, but being somewhat off balance and helped by healthy kick to the swiping arm, the claws slam into the wall of the house, cracking the fingers.

A whisper comes as Drew kicks out.
[sblock=Draconic]
"The monkey steals the treasure from the dragon."

[sblock=Actions]
Move: E26
Drunken monkey vs G2 Will; damage (1d20+13=19, 1d8+8=10) - hit: flurry of blows ongoing 7, G2 is slid to D26, Drew gains +1 AC TENT (shielding ki focus), G2 is hit by Illarions flames for 11 and enters Lillis zone.
On hit, enemy attacks itself with +3 bonus to hit
G2 attack vs self AC; damage (1d20+14+3=25, 2d6+5=12)

Total: 22 physical, 11 fire, ongoing 7

+13 vs. Fortitude
Hit: 3d10+8 damage and target is slid 3 (due to ki focus) and falls prone <- slide down so that we group the four guardians if possible)

Vermitrax clasps his chest as the disintegrating beam begins scrambling his insides. He lifts a finger, "Interesting sensation." he notes. Then he closes his hand into a fist, and the giant icy hand does so as well, crunching the beholder in its grip. "Perhaps you need other things to keep your eye on." he muses, and agains begins drawing runes in the air. As the conjuration finished, a lightning struck next to the beholder... and remained there! The energy sword stud still, and suddenly it slashed at the aberration.
After that, the necromancer casted a different spell. He began by uttering a cacophony of words in Imperial, and casting foul glyphs of cyan and grey in front of him. He finished the incantation quickly, clasping his hands together. As he did so, the ground beneath the beholder began to shake, and something started boring its way through to the surface. First, a skeletal hand emerged from the dirt, and the rest quickly followed. Armed with a rusted sword and protected with a ragged uniform of Daunton, the animated skeleton of a dead guard, stud oscillating.

Minor: Bigby Icy hand deals 13 damage as it's sustained.
Standard: Conjuring Mordendaiken's sword, it then attacks: 18 vs AC for 8 dmg
Minor: Summoning Shadow servant. If the beholder provokes, the skeleton will attack as an interrupt: +15 vs. AC Hit: 2d8 + 5 damage, and the target cannot shift until the end of its next turn.
Save: [roll0]

GM: @H.M.Gimlord None of the gargoyles are currently deceased. @MetaVoid The gargoyle doesn't take damage entering Illarion's effect from your push. However, it will take damage from starting its turn next to him.

GM: Edit: All of them (after Drew's attack) are bloodied
