I have started a conversion document for the Age of Worms adventure path. Currently it only has chapter 6 because that is where I am in our campaign, but I hope to update it regularly over the next several months. For anyone who would like to be notified of updates, subscribe to the thread attached to the download, and I will bump that thread whenever I add a new chapter.

Doing this exact thing myself. Ive set my AoW campaign in Golarion (it was originally converted for PF), so have already converted and slatted up Diamond Lake (Falcons Hollow), and the D0 module. Currently statting up episode 1 and 2 of AoW and D1 (Kobold king).

Very nice. I'm running my one group through, just stayed Encounter at Blackwell Keep last session, but I'm mixing in Tomb of the Lizard King with it. I will definitely make use of yours once I get there.

I'm also running an Age of Worms/Carrion Crown mashup in Golarion, combining aspects of Kyuss and Tar Baphon. Who are you picking for the Ebony Triad? I went with Asmodeus, Norgorber and Lamashtu. The Whispering Way and Cult of Urgothoa is pulling their strings.

We are in Greyhawk, so I kept it as is. Hextor (which worked very well against the Paladin and cleric of Heironeous), Erythnul, and Vecna seem to fit Greyhawk and the "old school" feel as well.

When the party made it to the temple of Hextor , they already had a bruising fight with the skeletons in the foyer, the guards in the foyer, and the piggy. The guards at the elevator had been bribed, charmed, and convinced that the Tiefling wizard in the party could make the delicacies of their homeland instead of the swill the temple of Hextor made for food. When the party made it to the arena, the head cleric tried to convince them to all come in. Sensing a trap the party refused, and there was a stand off.

The arena had a big statue of Hextor in the middle. The half-gnoll paladin of Heironeous walked into the arena, rearranged his armor and peed on the statue. This enraged the half-orc junior cleric of Hextor, and he launched himself into the pit to attack the paladin. The Paladin was surprised by this and turned towards the half-orc. I had the player roll a ranged attack roll. Nat 20. The half-orc was blinded; the cleric of Heironeous ran in and pulled the paladin out, and the normally regimented order of Hextor devolved a bit into chaos and fought the party on the party's terms (outside the entrance of the arena. The party was running on fumes; The head cleric was hard to hit and was about to heal himself when the paladin said, "I peed on your god." The cleric lost it and attacked the paladin instead and missed. One of the charmed Tieflings ran up behind the cleric and clunked him on the head to knock him out.

That was how the party got some Tiefling guards/muscle for their base back in town in exchange for keeping the Tieflings well fed.

I'm using the 4 horsemen (so more of a ebon quartet!). Fits with the apocalyptic theme of the AP. The 'black cloak' are an apocalyptic cult seeking to unify the four to bring about the end times (the age of worms).

Instead of wind dukes the cairn is an Azlanti ruin (icosol are all Azlanti lords). Same with Kyuss - he's an Azlanti who long ago sought godhood as the over god of the apocalypse.

He combines all aspects of plauge, pestilence, war and famine.

Thanks very much for this. I am going to start running a group through this tonight so having the conversion is a big time saver. I'll post back to let you how it goes. Thanks again.

So far things have gone pretty well using the conversion notes you provided. The encounter with the beetles and animated armor was tough but that's just because they ended up doing both encounters at the same time. We should be able to finish up the Cairn itself next session then it will be off to deal with Alastor situation and the next part of the adventure. Thanks again.

I am glad it has worked out for you. Real life has been hitting me pretty hard lately, and work on the conversion has slowed to a crawl. I am hoping to post the Temple of Hextor portion of chapter 2 this weekend with the rest of chapter 2 coming a few weeks later.

That would be great! The party had a pretty easy time with the grick but the trap gave them a bit more trouble. Next week its off to bury the bones. I'm interested to see how they make out with the owlbear. Appreciate your work and understand that RL can sometimes really take a bite out of the game time. Thanks again.
