D&D 5E MPMB's D&D 5e Character Tools

I just uploaded a new version that includes the latest fixes requested by you guys.

Character Sheet/Generator v9.7 (4-11-2015) has the following changelog:
- New Feature: You can change the “Attuned Magical Items (max 3)” row in the equipment section on the 2nd page to a regular equipment row. You can find this option in the “Add Equipment” menu (as per the suggestion of Headbomb)
- Changed the layout of the Ability Save DC to be more consistent for both DCs (as per the suggestion of Headbomb)
- Changed the way the code search for matches in the equipment section, eliminating the false positive finds when words match parts of another word (e.g. “staff” no longer matches “quarterstaff” and “book” no longer matches “spellbook”)
- Added the option to the magic item menu to copy the item to the adventuring gear section (in addition to option to copy to attuned magical items)
- Added the option for weight of magic items. You can find these with the “Modifiers” button just like the weight for armor, shield, weapons, and ammunition. By default this weight is not added to the “Total Weight” field, but an option for that is provided in the “Weight” pop-up dialog
- Fixed some bugs in the conversion to metric and changing the decimal mark
- Fixed the Warlock’s starting equipment explanatory text (thanks Mothraax for noticing)
- Fixed spelling mistakes in background features (thanks Mothraax for noticing)

Glossary Issue

Hey. When I select to include the glossary of abbreviations on the spell sheet, the glossary box shows up in the PDF, but the text is all invisible. I know that it's there, however, as i can use my cursor to highlight where the text would be, and when I open the PDF in Inkscape and view in outline mode, the text seems to be there.

Also, this is an unrelated issue, but where the D&D image should be in the upper-left, all I see is a white rectangle.

If it helps, I am using a fully updated version of Excel 2010 running on Windows 10, and I use Reader DC.

Purple:

how about adding the 3 new cantrips to your spell sheet? I'll send you the text on them via PM. :)
Thanks for the cantrips. I'll look them over when I get the chance. But I would really like to read the source text first to be able to check everything for myself. Hope you understand.

That is some strange behaviour, but seems more likely to be related to Excel than to my sheet specifically (although you never know). To be able to troubleshoot this I will need some more information.

1) How do the things display in Excel? Do you see the same problems there? Are all headers affected (Class, Levels as well) or just the Title header and Abbreviations list?
2) Do you have all the fonts in the .zip file installed? Does the problem occur when you delete the fonts, restart, install the fonts, restart again, and then try to generate something with a fresh Excel (i.e. not a resetted one)?
3) What happens if you print directly from Excel (try printing to paper and to pdf)?
4) Do the class headers update in the "Spell Sheet" tab of the Excel when you change the Ability Score after you have already generated something?

You can also send me the Excel and pdf (after you used it for generating a pdf), maybe they'll yield some clues.

The time has come for multiclassing to become much easier:
Character Sheet/Generator v9.8 (5-11-2015) has the following changelog:
- GRAND NEW FEATURE: you are now prompted for what class you want to add a level to when you increase the level of your character
- Fixed bug where certain Dragon Heads would no longer display if the right column rules were selected on the 3rd page

Lmao! I've been playing Amtgard too much. "Experienced," I said. Bahaha!

Minotaurs: Eh, okay. "Cunning" is used to refer to all sorts of mental aspects (e.g. Gnome Cunning), whereas intellect and intelligence are perfect synonyms, but it's small potatoes.

Great job! As usual, you're pumping out updates so quickly that it doesn't make sense for me to diddle with character sheets mid-week because you'll probably have even more improvements by the weekend! xD

Talking about updates:
Spell Sheet Generator v6.3 (5-11-2015) has been updated and has the following changelog:
- GRAND NEW FEATURE: Conversion to Metric. You can now use ranges and spell descriptions adhering to the metric system. Just use the drop-down box on the input tab
- ADDITION: Sword Coast Adventure Guide cantrips
- Some very minor fixes in spell descriptions

Love the new additions!

Minor thing, in the Weight pop up (extra features), the rows are not aligned (see https://gyazo.com/0f117875cfcc62f1c084311b2c319b39 ). Doesn't start too bad, but by the time you get to Magic Items, things are misaligned by a bit more than one line. Also, some text is cut off just above the 'box'.

This is also true of the Auto/Manual and Scores popups.

I would also suggest moving the hidden modifier box for the purple DC to the left of the DC circle

The way it is now, almost looks like it's a modifier for the 2nd box.

I just noticed the companion section doesn't have an ability save DC section. Probably should have one, given even the simple companions will have DC abilities. Maybe put speed in a box next to initiative, and this will give space for a DC subsection?

All dialog's look right on my machine, and I tested it with Acrobat XI and DC on Windows 7, 8.1 and 10. However, they don't scale well when you change the display settings to scale things up. Might it be that you are using another scale than 100%?

Even though I can't have the text at the top be displayed fully (I have to use a fixed height value and can't query your system to see what display settings it is using), I could remedy some of the issues with the rows not appearing correctly. I think I fixed the rows for the Auto/Manual and Weight dialogs. The Scores dialog is another matter, that thing might not be possible to change like I did with the others. How does the v9.8.2 Scores dialog look on your system?

As for moving the modifier box for the DC to the left. That would be a good idea if there wasn't already a modifier box there. Moving it to the left would make it look like it is a modifier for the saves (especially in the A4 version). I think it is only really an issue for characters that use 2 ability save DC's while the person is:
- unable or unwilling to read the tooltip/mouseover text
- unable or unwilling to see the consistency in the lay-out of the modifier fields
- unable or unwilling to test what happens when they put something in the field
