D&D 5E Beast Master,multiattack and Beastial fury

So i have been googling the subject at hand and well now my head hurts more than when i tried to catch up on the MGS story before playing phantom pain.

So this tweet here suggests http://www.sageadvice.eu/2015/01/08/rangers-badger-multi-attack/ that you can make your companion multiattack but then we find this tweet http://www.sageadvice.eu/2015/06/30/beast-master-bestial-fury/ wich looks like you can only multi attack when you hit 11 and pick up bestial fury.

So the the real question is Can a beast multiattack at level 3? if so does that mean at lvl 11 it can multiattack twice? Or are we looking at no multiattack untill lvl 11? or just maybe Crawford is a triple agent that is secretly a quadruple agent?

The Ranger Companion specifically lists the action the Ranger can command: Attack, Dash, Disengage, Dodge or Help.

Bestial Fury doesn't mention Multiattack by name, just allows two attacks.

Multiattack definition in the MM (pg 11) says "A creature that can make multiple attacks on it's turn has the Multiattack ability." and then goes on to say you can't use it for an opportunity attack. It's a new action type, that includes specific multiple attacks. It is not the Attack action.

So it looks like Multiattack is an action that monsters get, but by the rules it's not a valid action for the ranger to command just like the ranger can't command their companion to take the Hide action, Ready action, or Search action since those aren't listed under the Ranger Companion valid options.

So, by the rules, you can't.

Looks like I've got some houserules to write.
