D&D 5E some tweets

I don't think whirlwind attack does what you think it does. Is there a tweet or errata somewhere that states "with a separate attack roll for each target." doesn't also mean a separate damage roll for each?

If yes, I might see how whirlwind isn't a single attack with multiple attack & damage rolls, and then might be able to see how it has any bearing on what the twin spell metamagic does to the fire bolt cantrip.

Okay...

All I can find is a not-phrased-as-official-clarification tweet in which Jeremy says "To speed up play, I would have..."

So I still think you are incorrect in your claim that he's flat out wrong about fire bolt being twinned.

Twinned only increases the number of targets, not the damage rolls. A fireball hits multiple enemies but has one damage roll, for example.

I don't think you included this one yet.
