What are you arguing against? You seem to be struggling to score a point. You're not well informed on this subject.

Ok sure I will play along. Please Morrus, can you pretty please tell me where I can buy my 5e PHB pdf? My high street store does not seem to have one.

Just posting some things on Twitter isn't exactly embracing the internet. Dragon+ isn't all it's cracked up to be. There is being on the internet and then there is using the internet to it's full potential. Paizo uses the internet to it's full potential. It has a full online store that allows you to buy more than just books for it's RPG's. It continues to support a forum on it's website and it has a game app. When you go to the Paizo website, you feel like you have stepped into the hub of the company. The only time I ever go to the WoTc site anymore is through a link from here to download something.

WoTc really embraced the internet during the 4th edition era but now it's pulled back to where it just has a presence.

Hey, I was answering the assertion that WotC didn't acknowledge the internet or were somehow struggling to do so. Whether you think some of the ways they utilize it are valid or not is your own deal.

I don't care one bit for purchasable PDFs, but I would be fine if they had them for those that do. I do get that it is not in their current business model, however, and it is ultimately their decision.

I think that while the move to cut the Forum from WotC was not the best of PR moves, they were correct that they did not need to have it. Seems the game is thriving fine without it and I see many who used to post there, here instead. We want to touch on the game app? What about the two (kind of 3) MMO's that feature the D&D brand? That is also on the internet. Picking and choosing what you do on this medium is a far cry from shying away from it.

There is an argument for posting on Twitter as one of the most internet embracing actions you can take. It is so internet culture on that thing it is crazy (note, I do not tweet or have an account).

Edited for grammar and stuff.

You're moving the goalposts.

You claimed that the lack of 5E PDFs was because WotC was scared of the Internet. This claim has been demonstrated to you to be false, and the reason for the lack of 5E PDFs has been explained to you.

Your pithy response after all that effort was this? Really?

At this point, you're simply trolling us. Stop, please.

On Steam, through Fantasy Grounds. PDFs are digital old hat, sooo last century.

So now you not only want specific, narrowly targeted releases on a specific schedule, you want someone to give you the money to purchase them?

Are you sure? Are you pleased now? I know I am. And, apparently, the vast majority of 5e players as well. If you go by the survey results and sales figures, anyway. <shrug>

I dunno. I thought he was pretty spot on, ol' chap.

I can count on one hand with fingers left over the number of good faith responses you've given to me. I'm not surprised that you'd respond like this.

On the other hand, just because someone is playing in a homebrew world it doesn't mean they'll have any use for a particular piece of "general" content. Whereas you can be certain that the 35% playing in the Realms can easily fit a FR themed book into their games.

As someone who plays most of his games in the FR, there were FR books I didn't buy. I never intended to ever run a campaign in Chult or the Hordelands for instance, so I didn't bother to get any books on those areas.
