I would love to know that D20 you like the most and what part stands out above other systems. Example, you love pathfinder but still think Thaco is the best thing ever.

Thanks all !

D&D 4e by a wide margin. It's main benefits are a very transparent design, simplifying the DM's job, and a dynamic, tactical combat system with a built-in arc of suspense.

Can you expand on exploits please?

Sure, there are minor exploits (pushes, trips, disarms, usual RPG combat options). Major exploits cost a luck point but let you sever a scorpion's tail, impale a wolf on a fence spike, or even cut off your foe's head (subject to a HD rule) - entirely improvisation actions that the GM makes a ruling on to determine the effect. Lastly there are Rescue exploits, which are kind of like a 5e reaction one PC can take to save another PC and undo some adverse effect (eg: wizard gets hit with a lightning bolt spell and reduced to zero hp, the PC thief declares a rescue, makes some rolls and if successful, pushes the wizard out of way of the lightning bolt at the last moment).

Or you can get a softcover/hardcover print via Lulu.

For d20-based gaming, Castles & Crusades is probably my favorite, even if I don't get to play it. It's got an old school feel, but with some solid streamlined rules.

As far as d10 goes, I'll probably always have a soft-spot for the OWoD Storyteller system games, in all their 90s angst.

d20 as in an OGL/SRD game? D&D 3.x &c? Well, um, D&D 3.0, I guess.

More broadly (anything using a d20 kinda like D&D always has)? Gamma World. 1st, 2nd, 4th & 7th editions.

I just put C&C on my wish list, what editions of WoD would you suggest ?
