No flips for you!
Enlighten me, then. What did you suggest in your post?Which wasn't actually what I was suggesting, but hey, who needs facts, right?

That, yes, but primarily that it was not an item that was "literally" breaking the game, it was the natural result of the apparent chosen course of action to rely heavily upon targeting the AC of the character. Some ways to avoid having your game break when you have an unhittable PC?
Which were? Some ways to avoid having your game break when you have an unhittable PC?
I'm pretty sue no one thought that the game was "literally" broken, but thanks for making sure we didn't make that mistake. That, yes, but primarily that it was not an item that was "literally" breaking the game, it was the natural result of the apparent chosen course of action to rely heavily upon targeting the AC of the character.
And before anyone misconstrues that, let me be clear; there is a significant difference between "You are doing it wrong" which I didn't say, and "That is what happens when you do what you did" which I did say.
Then all I can say is this:Again, had you actually offered some solution rather than allude to their existence, we'd not be having this back and forth.
To not over-rely on reducing the character's hit points by way of attack rolls.Which were?
You mistake me, I didn't claim that I was, nor did I imply that I was. Further, I said that we wouldn't be having this discussion had you listed suggestions, not that you are not permitted to post how you wish. Just as I am permitted to respond how I wish. Then all I can say is this:
Step off. You're not a moderator.
Which post did you do this in? I have reread the thread, paying careful attention to all of your posts, and see no explanation. I'm willing to chalk that up to my error in not seeing it, so would you be so kind as to assist me in finding this explanation that you claim to have made?I already explained to you that I didn't re-state the suggestions in my post because they were already present in the thread by the time I made it, and I thought it would seem rude and unnecessary to just pile-on what had already been said. So I only addressed what hadn't actually been addressed; that the item didn't break the game, choices did.
You don't like that, you have options in place you can use to deal with it - but flinging mud at me in public threads is not one of those ways.
To not over-rely on reducing the character's hit points by way of attack rolls.
When your "challenge" is that I was posting inappropriately, yes you do have to be a moderator to do that. Us normal users are meant to use the report button if a post seems out of line, not try to take matters into our own hands. So, no, I do not have to refrain from challenging your posts unless I am a moderator.
I apologize for my error. I forgot that the post in which I did that was overly-long and in mostly in an inappropriate tone, so I scrapped it to start over, and didn't remember to include that portion. My bad, but at least now you know.Which post did you do this in? I have reread the thread, paying careful attention to all of your posts, and see no explanation. Quoting a post I made months ago for the apparent reason of accusing me of bad behavior certainly made it appear that way.In the words of the immortal Dr. Phil, "It ain't about you."
Again, you mistake me. I do not contend you violated any rules of the forum. I am expressing my opinion that your post was unhelpful, and that it appears to say that another poster isn't playing well, and also my hope that this could be corrected. If I believe that your posts are breaking the rules, by all means, I shall report it.When your "challenge" is that I was posting inappropriately, yes you do have to be a moderator to do that. Yes. Why post, then, though?I apologize for my error. I forgot that the post in which I did that was overly-long and in mostly in an inappropriate tone, so I scrapped it to start over, and didn't remember to include that portion. My bad, but at least now you know.
I had not noticed this was a necro-thread. I did not necro it, and certainly not to quote you, so it seems you've again misjudged me.Quoting a post I made months ago for the apparent reason of accusing me of bad behavior certainly made it appear that way.
