As Kilvo leaves the oracle's hut he turns and raspberries the scrawny guardswomen. He quickens his pace to catch up with the others...

I plan on living forever. Or die trying.
Ersarkess listens to the questions and answers. As his companions file away, he bows again to the oracle.
"We may meet again even if you don't remember this time. Please make a reading for us and our destinies. May Great Mother keeps you well." he then hurries after the group
"Thael, what do you plan to do there?! We cannot just storm in. We need a plan! Let's head back toward the tavern. Than we can see what we need to find out, what things to get and how to go about getting them. For example, do we want to revive the brewer next to that pool? Why? And Raghnall, please no more axes in advance, thank you."

Laconically, and with no hint of sarcasm, Thael answers: "Apologies, cousin. My mind often reaches conclusions quickly, and I assumed you all would follow. My approach was to introduce ourselves and since they seem to worship the Jester, telling them we met their god seemed as an excellent way to immediately get a good standing in their group, to better reach our goals". He then waits for the rest of the group. He is obviously waiting for agreement, and for the others to follow.

OOC: His attitude is that of a well intentioned, single minded wizard on the autism spectrum

"No offense, cousin, but it will not go as you think it will. You assume they will believe you. You assume they would be delighted to have someone usurp their power and take the spotlight to themselves. And you assume they would be willing to help you to achieve even more while they lose power by giving you what you need."

Ersarkess nods toward the tavern.
"Let's discuss this - at least we can come with prepared questions and define our own goals before barging there. In my experience, at least two of those assumptions are wrong, possibly all three. People don't like losing power."

He takes Thael under the arm.
"Let me explain some things about real people..."

Raghnall weighs in on the conversation in his typically grunt."Instead of drinking we should be killing, that thing is still down there defiling corpses."

Thael is genuinly surprised by his cousin's response. "Why in the would would they not believe us? Anyways, I guess it won't hurt to go to the inn and discuss, but I don't see how our course of action will change".

Returning to the inn you find it much the same, but the Zeumi merchant and his cadre are gone and the priest seems to have been replaced by two younger workmen on a break.
