This is possibly more of a techical question than anything else but here goes.
I created a level 4 Druid using the sheet with the following starting stats:
Str 8, Dex 14, Con 14, Int 10, Wis 15, Cha 10 (Prof. Wis, Int, Con).
Druid Circle: Moon
And at level 4 chose the feat resillient and increased my Con ability score by 1 up to 16.
For wildshape, I chose Brown Bear but I notice the Wild Shape sheet lists the claw and bite melee attacks as being +6 but the information about the Brown Bear wildshape in PhB pg.304 lists these attacks as +5. I'm curious whether I misunderstand how the Wild Shape rules are applied to come up with the +6 calculation, or if it's a mistake in the wildshape database in the sheet.
I am going to go out on a limb and say this is due to the proficiency bonus. Page 8 of the Monster Manual (MM) shows what the proficiency bonuses are for a monster's/ creature's challenge rating. The Brown Bear has a challenge rating of 1 so his proficiency bonus is +2 (which is the lowest possible bonus). Which means the Brown Bear's hit bonus calculates as the following.... Str +4 + Proficiency Bonus of +2 = +6 to hit.
There are errors in the PHB and MM as it relates to a creature's bonus to hit. The black bear has a Str of +2, but a hit bonus of +3 (instead of the +4 it should have). Forged has taken all of this information into account when he added creatures to his CS.
Hope this answers your question.
