I would check pages 359-362

I saw this as well and checked the pages and missed what you must have been pointing to. Can someone PM me the latest 2.28b build please?

Also, I'm trying to keep emotion out of this, but it's hard. All I know is this my players will suffer because of this, not only that but asking players to spend hundreds of dollars to have access to character generator systems that aren't as robust as "one guy in his garage" (that's a compliment to this amazing CS) is absurd. Due to this we may not even play D&D if they expect this from us. Shadow of the Demon Lord? Lamentations of the Flame Princess (OSR)? There are plenty of good people out there that are providing good content who are intent on helping their community. I don't think WoTC is some evil greedy corporation, that's fairy tale stuff, but it's obvious to see they've struck a nerve even though they are trying to do what is right.

Unfortunately with 5th Edition being the most popular edition made, WoTC has decided to take the approach of "they are the cattle, we must herd them", but the problem is they aren't offering any sort of incentive. Am I wrong? If so, please tell me I am wrong by showing my communication and transparency from WoTC concerning this subject and where we can go to get a reliable Character Generator without having to pay hundreds or at least where I can direct my players so they don't have to take the hit.

I found a place, the SRD is 30, then there is a community (free) add-in that has all of the up-to-date info (I have not noticed any differences in wording to keep the WOTC police at bay, but they must have it as it hasn't been taken down). If you find the Lab of Hero's adventure, you will know what I am talking about.

The v2.28 beta is (for a lack of a better term) broken. During the update process (adding material from XGtE) some of the normal operations have bugs. I would recommend using v2.27 for now. If you don't have it send me a PM and I will get it to you.

Everything can be added into the 2.27 if you put a little time in. I wouldn't bother to enter in full descriptions, let the sheet do %90 of the work and then just enter in descriptors where possible.

Dannyboy, thanks for the reply and all your support of this amazing project. I have 2.27 so I should be all good for now. I very much appreciate the offer for the PM.

That's good to hear! Can you expand on that a little? Don't need an in depth Standard Operating Procedure but do you mean if a player wants to play a subclass from XGtE and it's not in there they should just use the custom/override features?

First, NP.

Second, yes you just need to use the custom override features. Just understand that any of the bugs that have been discovered since v2.27's release have to not been fixed. So, you might have some issue.
