Favorite Old Supplements you Still Use

I have a few binders with old Dragon articles on better DMing. Things like understanding your players and providing a bit of each game for them to shine. There are also articles on names for characters of different races, taverns. and dungeons. Some articles explain types of businesses in towns and cities. Plot hooks and such.

Do maps count as supplements. I tend to reuse all of the old 1" grid maps from 3e and 4e, like Keep on the Shadowfell.

*if* I was running a Realms campaign, I would be using the 3e campaign setting. Great book.

My old 2nd ed dungeon magazines are, collectively, a resource I still make use of.

The monster ecology sections from the 2E Monstrous Manual.

*absolutely*. What a great resource

From 3e: Lords of Madness. Man, what a great book.
From 4e: the monster manuals. Fourth edition monsters had interesting mechanics, very useful when you're making homebrew content.

1e DMG
1e MM, FF, MM2
Star Frontiers (always, especially for something I want to do in space)
WEG SW (all of the books I have)
Forgotten Realms (gray box)
Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting (3e) along with many of the 3.5 hardcovers that are about specific regions
Grand History of the Realms

Forgotten Realms gray box. 4E references for the feywild and other planar stuff, Nerath articles from Dragon magazine. 2E supplements for FR are great.I like the 4E DMG for the tips on adventure writing (best I have ever seen).

What do people use 1E DMG for?

I'm putting together a new homebrew campaign based in the Outlands. "The Inner Planes" has many fantastic sites to visit. The four volumes of Encyclopedia Magica have lots of stories relating to the Items from most of the settings. Very inspirational. As a player, I stick to Novels.
