Hi all, title says it all so vote away, but if you'd like more info check out this thread I made: Which Magic the Gathering setting would you want added officially to D&D?
Or Wizard's site: MAGIC STORY

The poll doesn't include ever single Magic plane, just the ones Wizard's put on their site (plus Eldraine, because it is super new). So no complaints I'm missing one!

I did include the "none," option so that the people who don't want any have their say, but this is not a poll as to what the next setting should be, just the next setting from Magic the Gathering. I too want Dark Sun before anything from Magic.

Lost in Dark Sun
Ixalan.

Obviously I want to see Dark Sun, Dragonlance, and Eberron get hardcover campaign setting guides first (and Eberron is getting one in November!).

But of all the plane shift PDFs, Ixalan was (in my opinion) hands down the best.

As I said in the other thread, I'm in for Tarkir; specifically, the Khans timeline. It's a wonderfully realized world, and the five "clans" are really entire cultures, each one encompassing many groups and races. Because it draws inspiration from a wide array of real-world cultures - from the Mongol hordes to the Khmer Empire - it feels both grounded and expansive in a way that a lot of Magic worlds don't to me.

I'm kindda in a mood for some fey stuff, so Llorwyn it is for me. Eldraine will probably be cool for this stuff.

I'm thinking of running OotA in Lorwyn, but by having the players escapes the shadowy forest maze of Shadowmoor to try to get back on the ''sunny side'' of the plane.

EDIT: Dang, I dunno why I had in mind that the plane was divided in two sides...forget this then.

I definitely agree with all of that (Tarkir is also my choice), I love how it is respective to its source material while also maintaining fantastical elements and uniqueness.

However I do love all three "timezones" of Tarkir, and it that setting got it's own book I'd expect to see all three represented.

No vote from me as there's not a "combination of several of the above" option.

I think they could take about 6 of those planes and mash them all into one base plane (or world), and use about another 6 as regional variants within that bigger place. Also, no problems finding enough material to fill a book if it's done that way.

I didn't really want to add that option as that's a little vague (it could get the most votes, but everyone is disagreeing on the 6 actually in the book). If you'd like you can vote for the one you'd want the most in a book.

That's just it - I don't want just one of them (any one) because as presented they're all too limited in scope, and I don't think there's enough in any of them to comprise a typical WotC hardcover without an awful lot of space filler and junk.

But mash several together and add in the rest as regional variants, all in one book - now you're talking.
