Unearthed Arcana There has to be a more exhaustive source of arcane domains than those which are listed in unearthed arcana

The entry in unearthed arcana makes it clear these lists are at maximum only partial. There are spells present with greater and lesser instances which exist but are not listed as well. Where can i find the expanded lists? They have to exist.

Blackrat

He Who Lurks Beyond The Veil
The exact wording from UA: ”At the DM’s discretion, the player might create an alternatively themed domain instead.”

And as everything in UA is pretty much variants, optionals, house rules and such, I’d assume there actually was no official list beyond those few.

The issue is not that it seems like things are missing from the theme. Or that i'd like a different spell selection. The issue is, there are spells that are part of a set and there seema to be no rhyme or reason why, say, ALL dispels wouldnt be located in a certain domain. Or all summon monsters for instance. In otherwords. It directly has the appearance of something incomplete. As if there is missing stuff probably sitting on a larger list in a later book.

Am i just missing something @Blackrat? I'd assume there would be a good 30 domains expanded somewhere too.

Also i already knew about that line. I just dont think it on its own weight means there isnt an expanded list...

No, I agree, by itself it doesn’t say much, but since the whole class was from UA, and there never was much official expansions to the ideas from that book, I assume that it was left short for DM’s to come up with their own if they wanted.

Sure, it is a short list, but they propably had limited space/wordcount, so they put some examples and left it at that.

Ah. Intentionally open ended. So its meant to be filled out or added to and leaving it precisely how it is is actually not the intended/prescribed purpose. Sort of like miracle or wish (in the right circumstance) or the fact its never directly described how a wizard rebuilds a spell book once lost or for that matter how many spells they can add to secondary spell books per int if they are willing to just pour time into it endlessly. Gotcha. Thanks. I'll accept the orientation of the spells, partial spell set inclusions, and lack of updates as RAW evidence that its incomplete. Not just in appearance.
