D&D 5E Defeat Orcus

Has anyone been able to kill Orcus at full power. I'm just wondering if its even possible to do so.

The official 5e version of Orcus? Yes, that can be defeated.

In the Rappan Athuk megadungeon it's supposedly impossible without cheating.

I don't know...the official version of Orcus summons a bunch of demiliches....

In my campaign world it wouldn't be possible to do it permanently. Catch him outside his home? Sure, a high level party probably could. But Orcus isn't stupid, he doesn't go anywhere without his entourage, and of course he has an "Abyssal Amulet" as described under "Eternal Evil" in the monster manual.

Try to take out Orcus in his home plane? Good luck getting through his nearly endless armies.

In the 2e "H" series (Bloodstone), not only were you supposed to steal Orcus' wand from its place on his throne deep in the Abyss, you needed to take it to Avernus and kill Tiamat to destroy the wand and gain an amulet that would protect your country from demons for 100 years.

I think my version is a heavy CR 33? IWith a heavy does of epic boons and additional ASI/ feats per the DMG it might be possible
