A Title Much Cooler Than Anything on the Old Site
Since I bought my set of Gravity Dice, I have my perfect D&D dice. All my old dice are for players who forget to bring their own or as stand-in miniatures when I'm too lazy to dig through my actual miniatures.

My only complaint with Gravity Dice is that it could be easier to build a set out of singles. I don't like my dice set to be all of the same color. I e-mail the folks at Gravity Dice and they were very helpful in putting together a custom order. I wanted my dice to roughly match the polyhedrals to their color in classic alchemy symbology.

d4 = red,
d6=green,
d8=gold/yellow
d10=purple
d12=black,
d20=blue

They have a nice weight, are a close to perfectly balanced as you can get, and look nice.

Since then, the only dice I've purchased are some Infinity d4s, the healing potion dice, and the magic missile dice.
I find that I don't get as much use out of them as I thought I would, mostly because I mostly DM and players prefer to roll their own dice for healing and magic missile, but they are nice metal dice and roll better than traditional d4s. But I still prefer the traditional d4s. About the only time I use my Infinity d4s are when I'm a player in a convention game.

I really like Haxtec metal dice. They're available on the site Amazon of your choice.

Solid metal, nice finish. Come in a decent bag. The two sets I have are silver and "Tiffany" blue, and a copper and teal (looks like a nice oxidized copper).

I love these dice too, and have the same ones you have plus smoky plum which were a gift. I also like ordering from Dark Elf, which is enabling my addiction.

I got the snap together dice tray from Haxtec as well. Folds flat, maybe 1/8 inch thick. Comes in one of three colours.

I came in here to recommend Q Workshop dice, but Umbran has already found them!

Over the years, I have also bought large numbers of Chessex dice.

Metal dice do sound like some sweet game candy ;). If I ever need any new dice...

Metal is very nice. And you can do things in metal you can't do in other materials.

But... whenever I play at a game at someone's nice dining room table, I am afraid my metal dice will mar the tabletop. They are often so heavy...

They have lovely weight. At our table metal dice MUST be rolled in dice tray. šŸ˜Š

I just got my first set of metal dice today (actually they're Haxtec, too, old copper finish :D ). Also got a nice rolling tray-- which I now understand is definitely a necessity! (The viciously pointy d4 also means I now own a fully functional mini-caltrop.)

I'm foreseeing a new metallic dice habit in my future.
* sigh *
