Pandemic: How will you continue to enjoy your hobbies?

You know what I'm going to do during the Pandemic? I'm actually going to try and help others.

What I did was reach out to a cousin who is a single parent who lives far away from me. I said something like 'hey, what do you think if a ran a game of D&D online for your kid and his friends for the next couple of weeks?'

So yea, rather than arguing or complaining I'm going to do something really tiny, but helpful. Give a couple of kids an hour a day to socialize and keep building their friendships. To keep them being kids, and to introduce them to something I love.

How about some of you come up with some way you can help others too?

Sure, they tested like crazy. That's not a matter of superior technology - we have the technology to test. What we don't have is sufficient resources applied to build testing inrastructure.

And, you realize we have this virus now because of really bad sanitary and husbandry practices in their markets, right? Cleanliness is not a great claim.

He's probably right.

However Shanghai is the best they've got.

Over there they grade the cities it's like the Soviet Union with St Petersburg and Moscow.

The higher the grade the prettier and better resources the city's are.

Shanghai and Hong Kong are the crown jewels, out in the countryside and lower grade cities....

What would be your recommendations for online play where many of the players are the same house and would have to share a PC? Google hangouts with just video chat? Does roll20 allow a single log in to have multiple PCs?

Im DMing and would present from my PC

I don't know if Roll20 can do that. FG does allow a 'client' (i.e. player) computer to take control of multiple PCs. So your one local computer could be passed around those at home with you, or one person could just operate it for everyone.

We've done that where my son connects with his laptop, duplicates the display up to the TV so everyone else in the room can watch and instruct him what to do.
