LG doesn't mean saint lol.

Greek type gods also a bit more erm human like than most aka they screw up.

Had an NPC Paladin like that once. Players nicknamed Foot up Ass, can't remember his actual name.

Very nitpicky and self righteous.
I was very tempted to just leave his alignment as Zeus tendencies lol.

Is Theros designed to have such high level opponents?

This guy looks like an appropriate TPK for a level 20 party imho.
Do you need to summon a Tarrasque to aid you in combat? I would love, if someone does the math, of how an encounter between those two mobs would play out.
The most powerful creature given stats in the book is a CR 26 Mythic creature (effectively 2 CR 26 monsters), So, yes it is designed to have such high level opponents.

I have to say that the name annoys me. If you're going to refer to the Greek name (Helios), use it correctly. It's out of copyright.

Ya, it is not Helios. Heliod is a combination of Zeus and Apollo. Though he bears a resemblance to Helios as well. Better to have a separate name IMO, but perhaps Heliod is to close.
