D&D General Dungeons & Dragons Gets a My Little Pony Crossover

In Demand Toys, a store in Norwich, Norfolk, posted a photo to its Facebook group over the weekend showing a Dungeons & Dragons themed My Little Pony set.

It's part of a line called the "Cutie Marks" which also has versions for other Hasbro brands (Transformers, Power Rangers, etc).

The box contains five pony models, each of which is based on a D&D class (the druid also has a "blink bunny" familiar). There's also a custom d20 and a DM screen. The five classes are barbarian, bard, druid, rogue; plus either a wizard or a cleric.

Of course, there's already a My Little Pony RPG, and there have been other unofficial crossovers like Ponyfinder for Pathfinder.

No release date has been posted, but the store said they would be available for pre-order soon.

Mod note:
Other people honestly want and look forward to this. If your fun amounts to, "insult and tear down things others like," then maybe you shouldn't be doing it in their faces, hm?

Thanks for being considerate going forwards.
Sorry, really no offense meant, i honestly was in fact surprised on what wide range of products exist which are connected to D&D.

Special excuse to &Snarf Zagyg I am sometimes not aware that my sense of humor is to extreme.

I remember years ago when on an April Fools Day (a little research shows me it was 2006), Wizards announced a My Little Pony RPG would be coming out using the d20 ruleset, and would be compatible with D&D, including a bunch of mount-related rules for cavaliers and such.

Fairly apropos of nothing, but this made me think of it.

My experience with My Little Pony is limited, but I suppose they would be galvanized to action if a budding Defiler showed off their new 'trick' and promised / threatened to do more, bigger and better.
I'm not sure how to create a believable villain who likes to make flowers wilt and grass wither. Maybe he started by trying to get rid of garden weeds without all the hard work of digging and pulling?

The antagonist of Curse of the Statuettes is acting out of loneliness and not recognizing that others' feelings are as important as hers. They do a good job in the adventures of mapping MLP-appropriate motivations to everyone, even if I don't love the adventures in general.
