A Title Much Cooler Than Anything on the Old Site
This thread is really making me wish I hadn't sold a lot of my RPG books over the years.

I know. I traded away all my 1e D&D, Warhammer Fantasy, Star Finder, Boot Hill, Gamma World, and other classic stuff in my second year of college to a couple I knew from the local SCA chapter for a few cases of home-vinted wine. sigh I had different priorities then. :)

Hmmm...mine doesn't have the same sense of individuality.

I have Jakandor, and one that I've never known anyone else to have: Tales from the Floating Vagabond.

But I can't be bothered to take a picture. So I'll have to paint a word picture. Four 80cm shelves, plus some spilling over, 1E, 2E and 3.X, BECMI, a couple of of the large 2E Monstrous Compendium binders, Star Wars d20, d20 Modern/Future, various d20 variations such as Conan, Spycraft, Gamma World, Wheel of Time, some boxed sets such as Dark Sun, World of Greyhawk, Dragonlance, Forgotten Realms grey box, Planescape and Spelljammer, Ptolus, Numenera, and various miscellaneous games such as TF2V and Firefly. I recently threw out two large stacks of Dragon magazines.

Over the past 18 months my RPG collection has been dwarfed in volume (if not number or cost) by my collection of boardgames, including such impressive specimens as Twilight Imperium, Conan, Tales of the Arabian Nights and War of the Ring.

I thought about buying it out of curiosity but never bothered. I saw one copy sit on the shelf at Media Play for eons its seemed; I don't think they could give that thing away even when they were closing for good.

I've never actually played it, but it was quite amusing to read. (If I remember correctly, size categories for guns were Gun, Big Gun, Incredibly Big Gun, Oh My God That's A Big Gun and Don't Point That Thing At My Planet. That kind of thing. I was in my early 20s at the time, and thought it was hilarious.)

I read a review in Dragon, which said that it was let down by a combat system that was too complicated for what was supposed to be a lighthearted game.

Thats great. Now Im not sure if I stand by my decision not to buy it or if I wholeheartedly regret it? Sure I could find a copy on ebay for $0.46 + $80.00 S&H if I really wanted to find out.
