Slight tangent: Am I the only person who prefers 'Warrior' over 'Fighter'? I know, tradition, but 'Human Warrior' just sounds cooler than 'Human Fighter'.

I would have loved Greyhawk, personally: if they did this 20 years ago, we would have had that, and maybe that would have given Greyhawk enough if a boost to thrive a bit more...
Even if it had been too close thematically with Ravnica, Planescape (or Sigil: City of Doors) would have been a fantastic fit for MtG and its planeswalkers.

And the gnashing of teeth when the next D&D book for GH was adapting the MtG version to 5e...

It will be hilarious if they put out a broader Forgottt Realms book to go with this, after all the gnashing of teeth bout Magic Settings coming before classic reprint Settings. Height of irony.

Sure, and that could still happen down the line. There isn't that much crossover, really, the factions are massively different and Ravnica is a normal planet, not a cosmological hub.

Too bad that’s the 2021 line-up. We won’t get another DnD book until 22
A Viking setting or magic academy would be a rad campaign product for DnD

Don’t much care for Magic tho. A DnD themed set is nifty for fans of card crack but I won’t buy

Gaming is fun, and fun is for everyone
As much as I hope this means new art for non-Sword Coast regions, I fully expect that it will be Sword Coast focused.

They are likely to use a whole bunch of very classic D&D monsters and characters to be cards. The beholder, mind flayer, drow, I'm sure a whole bunch of these are getting something. Highly doubt they'll drift into anything exotic like Kara-tur.

Also... they're probably going to make Elminster a Planeswalker card, aren't they?
