Yeah, there will be editing and professional proofreading, of course. You really need some hard editing on this before releasing it. The Cleave maneuver for example really requires one reads it more than once because "his", "it's" etc. is obscuring, who is being referred to. I think you should stick closer to the "traditional" wordings of 5e, where the monster name is used repeatedly, to avoid confusion.
Some parts of me just refuse to let 3.5e goOh, and medium creatures in 5e do not have d12 HD!
I'm gathering data now and weighting options now. Anecdotal references suggest that DMs Guild provides greater traffic for 5E-related products, but they take a larger share of profits and have a ridiculous license... So, I don't know. Will this be OGL or DMs Guild?
I am asking because one is found on Drivethru while the other is found exclusively on DMs Guild and undead products are something I often have an interest in so thinking of where to watch for it.I'm gathering data now and weighting options now. May I ask, why are you asking this question, though? Is there some kind of issue for end-users with either of these that I'm not aware of?
I mean, there's no reason they can't, if you want the undead in your book to be a little tougher.Damn, I'm using 5E since it release and I was absolutely sure that undead have d12 HD.
I'd keep undeads and some constructs with higher HD, it makes sense in their lore, and size-based HD dont always represent best the toughness of a creature, even with higher Con or Resistance.I mean, there's no reason they can't, if you want the undead in your book to be a little tougher.
Except sticking to 5e design rules in a 5e productI mean, there's no reason they can't, if you want the undead in your book to be a little tougher.
Thanks!I am definitely interested in the final version. I especially like the "Consequences" mechanic--it adds a lot of flavor to the combat.
The simplest answer I can give you right now is to watch for it in this thread, I'll post a link here (probably with some discount) when it's done.
