@Nixlord, the first book(s) had a lot of recycled art, IIRC: however, these previews look to be all new art. Is that correct? The art in general looks really great, btw. The celestials are some the best ever seen in a D&D product.

I hope all this custom art didn't break your budget! I remember paying $500 to get portraits of the archons (for a planned DMs Guild submission that I never finished) and they were not as good as what you have shown here - I'm jealous!
The third book will have about 90% original art. As for the budget... haha... yeah, let's just say this is a 'Thank You' to all those who supported the first two books. I reinvested a chunk of those books' income in commissioned art in order to make the third book really special, especially since I already got the PoD okayed. I thought about going Kickstarter for the third book but then decided to just go the DM's Guild route. :)

Very cool. TBD, this is the first MME I've really been interested in as art is a big thing for me ( and I tend to do my own monsters). I look forward to getting the PDF when it is available.

So no waiting months and months for PoD this time around?
Haha no definitely not for months and months. However, I am still contemplating on a PDF for a month only release at first so as to ensure we catch all typos and errors from customer feedback. I already have several editors lined up but we'll see. I really want this to be perfect but that might further delay the book's release. I already had 3 editors work on the previous books before print and we still didn't manage to catch all typos and errors. We'll see. But to answer your question again, no, definitely not months and months. :)

That totally makes sense. I'll definitely buy the PDF and make sure to report back any typos or editing issues to make the PoD as good as it can be.

However, MME 1 & 2 are available for Fantasy Grounds. Which is allowed to get DMsGuild content (I don't understand why WotC hasn't made similar deal with DnD Beyond yet).

Because other people create the FG packages and its system just reads them. (I’m probably not using the right terminology at all... I don’t use FG.) Beyond, on the other hand, has a very anemic user-facing programming side, so it would be very difficult and sometimes even impossible for freelancers and creators to create their own Beyond files for Beyond to then sell. The Beyond team really has to be involved in it, and they’re way to small and spread thin as it is.

Could be, but it still a fact that WotC doesn't allow DMsGuild content even if it is technically feasible.

EDIT: Though if what you said is correct, it could be from DnDBeyond and not WotC.

Monster Manual Expanded III Art Previews #6: Today, it gets chilly as we share some new frost giants: the Shaman of Auril, the Warlock of Thrym, the Mammoth Rider, and the Huntress (with her winter wolf companion)! Next week, stone giants and a look at another dragon!

Question about the Frost Giant riding the mammoth; I think for mounted combat, to ride something you need to be one size category smaller than the mount. And I think giants and mammoths are both huge?

Also the art is AMAZING!

Thanks! Hmm, that can easily be fixed. I'll think of something. ;) Thanks for pointing it out though.
