Nothing in the aasimar description (at least in the DMG) suggests they are immune, so my answer is yes. YMMV.

Don't see why not. Most diseases seem to affect most humanoids, and aasimar are probably very biologically similar to their base race.

Sure they can. Though I would add the caveat that if they're a D&D character there is a possibility of a class feature making them immune. Paladins get that at third level, and that's not exactly an unusual class choice for Aasimar.
