When I did the write-up for that one, I originally had all of the entries hyperlinked to the contestants. I see the links aren't working anymore, though. Must have gotten broken when ENWorld switched software?

I'll take it on. I was the emcee, after all. Might as well finish what I started.

Shoot me your email and I will share the google drive we're using and you can see the format.

I really want to compete again. But may be able to judge in the fall. . . and if we can't get enough judges I'll run an old school one judge iteration if we have to.

I’m sure it’ll be fine. For one thing, I’m probably not going to want to compete again so soon after my last appearance, so that’s a potential 2 out of 3 accounted for. (Or 1 out of 1, if it comes to it – there’s no pressure to judge if you’d rather compete.)

Of course, judging takes a lot of time and effort, but the bursts of intensity that come along with competing are hard for me to justify unless I have a new writing style or approach that I want to test. I’ll find out in the fall, I guess.

Gradine

The Elephant in the Room (she/her)
I'm of two minds about that (re:hosting). If I have the time, I honestly wouldn't mind doing it. I legitimately don't know what my schedule will look like in two months. The wife and I started foster parenting this past March and we are undergoing a dual set of transitions with children about the middle of February, and we aren't sure what direction we are going to be taking for a couple of months after, all of which is to say, I am either going to have more free time right around there, or maybe not much at all. I should know about the beginning of March what it will look like.

Relative to judging, I wouldn't mind competing again this year also, but that does mean that if both Gradine and I did that, we would need some others to step into (back into) the judge role.
I'm waiting to hear back on a job opportunity that will give me significantly more free time in the Summer (and probably less than usual in the Spring) so I'll see where I'm at too.

If need be I'll judge again next year, but I will admit that the itch to compete again is strong right now. Again, we'll see how it goes in the Fall.
