D&D General Graz'zt Petition

Yes I know about it. I don't think it would bother me so much if I hadn't had the impression that this image of Graz'zt is becoming more and more ubiquitous. In "Tasha's cauldron of everything", as a miniature from Collector's Series... I preferred his previous image and I wish I had seen him in 5e so far.

You are entitled to your own opinion.
Are you sure you don't want to go back to the 4e look? That's where the image for your avatar is from, though admittedly they could have reused an earlier piece of art for the cover of a dragon mag during 4e since they did reuse a fair amount of art from memory.

My favorite image of him was always the one in the 3e Book of Vile Darkness. Jeremy Jarvis was the artist, I believe. I felt like it really showed the evil in him.

I don't know if my avatar is from 4e or 3e, I know it was once published in one issue of Dragon Magazine. If I'm not mistaken, the appearance of Graz'zt in the 4e was very similar, if not the same, as in the third edition.

I liked this picture too.

Except for the very early illustrations in B&W most of the pictures I found with a quick Google image search were pretty consistent aside from some stylistic differences. The only thing that seems to change much is his hair, it goes from Squiggy in one picture to Captain Kirk Douglas in the next. Briefly reading his origin online there are a few theories which contradict each other, and I seem to recall reading him being described as a Cambion at some point in 2E. Anybody remember that or am I completely wrong?

I act unofficially. I don't know if my client even knows about my involvement, although I suspect that considering the case I am dealing with, he would not mind. I made it my duty to defend his honor and good (bad) name.
Have you spoken with Graz'zt's dentist and barber to learn how they feel about this?
