Nebulous
Legend
Here it is:
The player doesn't like it is a 1 minute concentration spell. Wants it to be 10 minutes or an hour. It's a very niche spell, probably won't get used much, I don't think bumping the duration to 10 minutes will break anyway, but comparing it to the 2nd level Enlarge spell which is also 1 minute and concentration and has combat utility, the 1st level Machine's Load seems reasonable. I was NOT going to let the player give it an hour duration, that seemed too abusable somehow. And if the Wizard casts Enlarge first, you still have a Huge giant strength character for 1 minute. Thoughts?
MACHINE'S LOAD
1 transmutation (clockwork)- Casting Time: 1 action
- Range: Touch
- Components: V S M (a 1-lb weight)
- Duration: Up to 1 minute
- Classes: Druid, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard
- You touch a creature and give it the capacity to carry, lift, push, or drag weight as if it were one size category larger. If you're using the encumbrance rules, the target is not subject to penalties for weight. Furthermore, the subject can carry loads that would normally be unwieldy.
- At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot higher than 1st, you can touch one additional creature for each spell level.
