Spider man 3: What we know and speculation

What was the Sinister Six from the recent video game? Doc ock and Mister Negative, definitely, then I think it was Electro, Vulture, Rhino and Scorpion.

so we are potentially going to have 3 spiderman's and 3 villians (electro, dok oc + one more). Assuming dr Strange is there to reset Peters secret identity? Wondering if this is going to also be tied to events from Wandavision (I wont spoil anything and its only a guess as of today)

I wouldn't mind if somehow they brought in the spiderman from the animated movie

The problem I have with multiple spidermen is sort of the problem Dr who has when you bring in more timelords
-splitting time between actors
-you probably have new spiderman fans who have no idea who tobey Maguire even is etc
-the spiderman movie with venom/goblin was kind of a mess because you had 2 many storylines. hopefully they figure it out
-these spidermen have aged . could have a 50 + year old playing spiderman. After a while it looks silly

Spider-Man Into the Spiderverse managed to work around these issues, indeed made some of them its strengths. But that's one reason not to re-tread that ground so soon - we've already had our multiverse Spider-Man team-up movie.

Its looking very much like Spiderman No Way Home is going to be a multiverse story with Dr Strange in the Iron-mentor role and a proto-Sinister 6 as the villain (Scorpian and Vulture, Electro, Dr Ock and ).

The Avengers movies have already shown that Marvel can do ensemble casts that give enough spotlight to everyone. in order to please the fans (well, except when it comes to the Hulk ;( )
Even 'Into the Spiderverse' did okay in that department and it also had older Spiderman and young Spider-peoole in the same movie.

I'm also confident that despite Maguire and Garfeild being in it, Tom Holland is still going to be the central protagonist and that audiences are sophisticated enough to work things out

Supposedly, yes. We don't know where in the spread between cameo and major role they sit.

There have been fifteen iterations of the Sinister Six in the comics.

Though since Boomerang, Beetle, Overdrive, Shocker, and Speed Demon are unlikely to be in the movie they'll be missing the most Superior Foes of Spider-Man.
